I spent my Saturday out on the lake watching DRAGON BOAT races. I know you are all thinking, “What in holiness is DRAGON BOAT racing?” (yes, it must be in all caps). DRAGON BOAT racing is a lot like crew, but with these, um… well, DRAGON BOAT’s. Oh phooey, I can’t explain it, but it was a lot of fun watching everyone race and get wet. I was the Rotary’s 2nd string photog for the day, so I stayed on safe dry land with a clear view of some of the boats who decided to take a dip. Never stand up in a DRAGON BOAT.
