Skipped

Since we had the snow, I got a little off track: over the holiday, Will turned 3, which is what I had originally sat down to post about. Oh, well…

It turned out kind of good because today was the first day I have had a chance to take him out for his 3-year old photos. As usual, I chose a nature setting. I truly never intend it that way, but every year around this time I find a new place that I am just dying to try out. After a few years of trying to find this boardwalk thing, I finally found it.

Silly laughs - I see them all the time these days.

“Chase me, mommy!” I hear this all the time, too.

“I take your picture, mommy!” Did you know you could take a picture with a stick? Well, you can!

Now I have proof that he likes to hold my hand. I am sure there will be denial regarding this point one day.

How could you not love those lashes. I know I always will.

Another year gone and another one full of discoveries to come.

the snow dog house

In case you are reading this and did not already know, I live in Georgia (Atlanta, to be exact), and it does not snow here often. But yesterday the sky exploded in a flurry of snowflakes. It was a bit unexpected and did not last long enough, but it was still exciting. I grabbed my camera and took everyone outside to get a few pics. Marla, our smallest dog, could not stop licking the snow off her face, so I had to share her bubblegum tongue with you. When the snow first started to fall, I grabbed Will and took him outside to see as he had never seen snow before. He said to me, “Mommy, it’s too cold. Let’s go inside.” Then I realized he just wanted to go in and get his jacket. I was so stoked to see snow that I had dragged him out without shoes or a coat. I definitely deserve the mom of the year award for that…

Doesn’t he look so happy? Look close and you can see a little snow falling.

Lady W

I have had a few shoots with this beauty, and we always have a blast! I have to say that she may look dainty, but she is one tough cookie. We were in the freezing cold on a rainy day in an old field with some broken-down sheds, and she never complained or let it show in the pictures. Way to go, Lady W.

Oh Baby!

We are happy to finally announce our new-for-2008 Baby Planner.
